Andrew began his career in the industry by working a variety of crew roles, from runner to location coordinator to script supervisor. He eventually finagled his way into the script departments of shows like Wonderland and Neighbours, before becoming a script editor for the hit drama series Home and Away.

Now a freelance screenwriter, he regularly contributes to the show.

In 2021, Andrew was nominated for an Australian Writers’ Guild Award for Best Serial. In 2026, his short film 'Marv' won the short film Grand Prix at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival, as well as Best Comedy short at the Manhattan Film Festival.
